FLIGHT TRAINING and CHECK FLIGHTS

Club instructors are pilots (identified by a Green stripe on their membership cards) who volunteer to teach new members basic aerodynamics, preflight procedures and general piloting skills needed to complete a proficiency check.  Members interested in obtaining instruction should attend a club meeting, discuss their training needs with members at the field or contact our training coordinator via the "Contact Us" button on the main menu.

PWCRCF requires that any new member, or student ready for unassisted flying, successfully pass a basic set of pilot proficiency requirements.  Student pilots will be identified by a red stripe on their membership card until these requirements are signed off by a designated club instructor.  New members and students completing these requirements will be issued a qualified pilot membership card.  This card is required for a member to fly without instructor supervision at club fields.
