Sally Ride Science Festival

Greetings Fellow Flyers,

Thanks go to members Will Marchant, Nic Burhans, Marsh Dehart for their support of the Sally Ride Science Festival at George Mason University on Saturday April 19. Will is a very proactive supporter of educational opportunities for our youth, and suggested PWCRCF participate in this exciting activity primarily focused on early motivation. Will ran an information and display table noting capabilities of the Radio Armature Satellite Corporation (AMSAT) and Nic and Marsh ran an information and display table on radio control technology with a great selection of aircraft displays. It was a perfect day for the event and interaction with the crowd was very rewarding. Thanks to our members, PWCRCF continues to provide support to our community.

PWCRCF is proud to be able to give back to the community. We hold merit badge clinics for Boy Scouts at Camp Snyder, and we're available for other community service projects as they come to our attention.
